Bachelorette Party on the gridiron

Charlie Berek a former division 1 college football player from Lexington has created the ultimate Bachelor Party gridiron experience. Charlie has put together a Bachelor Party that is a football lover’s dream. Charlie has turned a former farm land into a football paradise! I talked to Charlie about his Gridiron Bachelor Parties

DD: So how a 27 year old own this much land?

CB: Well it’s a little bittersweet but was left the land and a large amount of money by a deceased family member. At first, I decided to create a football field so that my buddies and I could mess around. I was the best man in a wedding last year and decided to have everyone out at my place. We broke into an impromptu football game and it was a lot of fun. Most of the guys said it was the best time they ever had at a Bachelor Party. So that gave me the idea to start up my company. Of course we don’t just offer the football, we also have drink packages and tons more.

DD: Besides the football, what else do you offer to the Bachelor Parties?

CB: Well like I said, we do drink packages, and we are now connected to a night club. We have a locker room with showers where the guys can get cleaned up after the game, and then we take them on a bus to the club. We will also drive them home. They have the bus for the whole night. If they aren’t the clubbing type, then we can do it all right from our facility. We can have strippers come by. We have an exclusive deal with Strippers.co and they will send the guys the hottest strippers they have ever seen.

DD: Tell me about some of these games. They must be pretty funny!

CB: Oh my God! It is so much fun. We have had groups who are just there to have fun, and we get groups who get really competitive. It sometimes feels like I am watching a pro game.

DD: Any fights or injuries?

CB: Both! Fights happen all the time, but the worst accident we ever had was one of the grooms tore his ACL. It was horrible and kind of ruined his wedding. He was on crutches the day of his wedding. But when I talked to him after the wedding, he said it was worth it because he tore it scoring the game winning touchdown, and he got to take a month off of work which led to more time with his new wife. So something good came out of it, plus it is one of the greatest stories ever! He will have those memories forever.

DD: The jerseys you guys give out are pretty bad ass! Tell me about those.

CB: We put the Bachelors name into a customized logo, and then all of the guys have their name on the back of jersey. A lot of the guys have all of their boys sign the jersey. It becomes great piece of memorabilia.

DD: Definitely one of the most original concepts I have ever heard! Good luck on the field!

Exotic Dancers – Exotic Dancer Basketball League

Michael Jordan recently came out and said that he could beat Lebron James one on one if they were both in their prime. The same day that this announcement was made, Lexington native Mandy Edelman made the announcement of her new 8 city Exotic Dancer Basketball league. I talked to Mandy about this new groundbreaking league.

DD: So the West Coast is in for something special it looks like!

ME: Yes! We have teams all over California and the West Coast. We are in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Las Vegas, San Diego, Seattle, Portland, Sacramento, and Phoenix. We are lloking to eventually expand the league across the country, but right now it is a good start.

DD: I love that the games are outdoors. It probably wouldn’t work as well on the East Coaset because of the weather.
ME: That is true, but we aren’t against moving the games indoors. I think that we will be able to secure these venues if we have a successful first season.

DD: Explain what makes this league different from other leagues.

ME: We have gorgeous girls who can actually play ball. They are all exotic dancers with college or other high level experience.

DD: Yeah I saw a game in Vegas, and these girls can play. Each quarter they slowly take off more and more clothing. Until the 4th quarter, they are completely naked. I must say that it is quite the site seeing naked girls play basketball.

ME: Our girls are really competitive too! Naked girls hard fouling each other is something that needs to be seen!

DD: Tell me about the 2nd half lap dances?

ME: At half time, our girls shower up and then come out and give lucky fans lap dances! The show just gets better and better! It is truly a guys fantasy come to life.

DD: I heard that you are thinking about taking this show indoors in more of a theater type setting.

ME: Yeah we have considered a bunch of different ideas. We think that having it in a smaller space that we will be able to be closer to the guys and be more interactive! This thing is a work in progress. One of our favorite things that we do is the party bus experience for 10 lucky fans after each game where they meet up at our bus after the game and we give them a farewell show that they will never forget. Exotic dancers have been around forever. We are just trying to think of ways to change things up a bit!

DD: Sounds like you really care about customer satisfaction! I think that mindset will help you go a long way!

ME: That is all we care about! We never want someone to come by and feel ripped off or like they didn’t get what they wanted. If you come to one of our games, I guarantee that you will be back and you will bring friends.

Sweating on the stripper pole

There are many fads in working out, but one that seems to have some legs is the Stripper Pole class. I talked to former female stripper and current lead instructor at a stripper pole class Vicky Castabian about the latest workout craze!

DD: Congratulations are in order. You just had your 500th member. In less than 6 months, that’s quite a feat.

VC: Thanks! Yeah I am blown away by what we have done here. I started out with 10 girls, and we are on pace to have over one thousand members before we celebrate our one year anniversary. It has been a lot of hard work, but very rewarding.

DD: Tell me about your background as a female stripper, and what made you want to open up this niche Stripper pole class.

VC: I started working at a gentlemen’s club when I was eighteen years old. I really got into performing on the pole. People started coming to just see me work that pole. I really enjoyed the entertainment part of stripping, and quickly realized that it was an amazing workout. In the first year of being a female stripper, I went from being in good shape to being ripped. My sister was overweight, and I wanted to help her. She could never find a workout that she enjoyed. The stripper pole workout is a really fun way to lose weight. So after 4 years of stripping, I had enough money saved up to open up my own studio. We have moved 3 times already to accommodate all of our members. For the first 3 months I was working at the gentlemen’s club, but I had to quit to keep up with the demand. I brought in 2 other girls from the club to teach classes. We are now offering 12 classes a day. We never have less than 10 at capacity.

DD: Wow you are a little 22 year old entrepreneur. That is amazing. What do you have planned for the future?

VC: The sky is the limit. If we keep growing and expanding, we may have to change venues again. My current studio has a capacity of 100 ladies per class. So if we have to move, that will be a good problem to have. We are thinking about adding 2 more classes a day, bringing it up to 12 classes a day. So as long as we keep getting new members, we will keep expanding.

DD: what is your retention rate, and what are your monthly fees?

VC: We have a 95% retention rate! We rarely lose clients. In fact, our clients are our best type of advertising. For every new member that someone brings in, we give them 2 free months. So a lot of our hardcore members have 2 or 3 years for free classes coming their way because they keep bringing in new members. And we are happy to pay them back for spreading the word, and turning my dream into a reality. As far as our rates, we do a $35 unlimited classes per month, or $10 per class. Also you can try up to 3 classes free. We like to keep our rates low so that it is affordable for everyone.

DD: That is great. Let’s talk again when you hit the thousand member mark!

VC: You got it. Maybe we can get you up on the pole (Laughs)!

The Stripper Party Bus

Las Vegas is about to get a strip club that is unlike any other on or off the strip. Kelly Rollins a former stripper from Bridgeport and dancer recently started a Stripper Party bus that has 8 female strippers on the bus driving around Las Vegas! It parks in front of different casinos and patrons are allowed to come on board and have a strip club experience like no other on the planet!  I talked to Kelly About her ultimate female stripper tour bus!

DD: Tell me about this female stripper tour bus! How did you come up with this idea?

KR: I started finding a lot of these strip clubs in Las Vegas to be very lame! They are all in shady areas, and seem creepy! Believe me; I have worked at five different clubs on the strip. Strip clubs are not the fun atmosphere that they should be. So I originally wanted to just bring a strip club to one of the big casino’s and none would even return my call, so I thought why not have a mobile strip club right on the strip. We park at hotels right on the strip and do pickups 24 hours a day. It is a lot of fun! Most of our clients are walk ups from people walking around on the strip! A lot of guys and groups are skeptical to go to strip clubs, but when they see it driving down the street they say “why not?”

DD: How much do you charge guys to get on the bus, and what is included?

KR: It costs $15 to get on the bus for an hour! And lap dances are $20 each. Of course if guys are having fun and getting dances, they don’t have to leave after an hour! We have no problem with guys just sitting there for the full hour and enjoying the view! We have a really cool stage set up in the back of the bus, and really comfortable recliners. It is a really comfortable strip club, but is a lot more fun! We want to give a strip club experience but add a total Vegas feel. We park outside different hotels for an hour at a time, and we also perform while the bus is rolling! We are currently working on getting our liquor license, and once we get approved, this thing will become huge!

DD: So you have 8 girls on the bus. Do you find that 8 are too many, too little, or the perfect amount?

KR: For regular days it is perfect! We once had a 25 minute spam where only 2 guys were on the bus. They said it was the greatest moment of their life when they had all 8 girls on them! So stuff like that definitely happens where we get slow, but we make the best out of it! In fact, we encourage our girls to give 1 guy or 100 guys the same VIP experience.

DD: I can’t wait to take a ride!

Bachelor Party BBQ

Rich Klingler from Bridgeport has created the ultimate Bachelor Party BBQ. Everything is completely catered for all of your bachelor party needs. I talked to Rich about his Bachelor Party BBQ.

DD: What made you concentrate on Bachelor parties?

RK: I have a pretty successful BBQ restaurant. A lot of my cliental are guys obviously. I threw a bachelor party for my son in law, and it was a legendary event. All of his buddies were asking me if I could plan their bachelor parties too. So eventually I was booked for months ahead of time. Now I basically have a second business.

DDL: Explain exactly what all comes in your bachelor party package?

RK:  Well I start out with an amazing catered BBQ dinner for the whole crew. Ribs, pulled pork, mashed potatoes, corn, mac and cheese, and my specialty BBQ beef sandwiches. Then we bring the party to our 2000 square foot party room where we have open bar for 3 hours, and we even have a deal for entertainment. So it is really a one stop shop for everything. I also own the club next door, so we offer bottle service packages etc. Since I have the facilities, I figured why not take advantage of it.

DD: That sounds like a lot of fun. Let’s get back to the dinner portion of the event, because I understand that you set it up like a legit BBQ out on your huge patio.

RK: Yeah we have a great set up out there. And we even have games set up like bags, and beer pong. It is a lot of fun. I want it to be a completely unique experience without breaking these boys’ wallets. I think we have put together something that no one else can offer. We even have out Pig bus take them home if they get too drunk.

DD: Tell me about the poker tournament that you offer to the bachelor parties.

RK: That is something that is really fun. We started doing weekly poker tournaments at the restaurant, so it kind of just evolved from that. We were thinking of other options that we could offer for the Bachelor parties. So my son in law said that we should offer poker tournaments. We provide the dealers and everything. We just do it like any other poker tournament where we take a cut up front. We truly have something for everyone. I think that we have become the premiere Bachelor party destination.

DD: Tell me about this back room.

RK: 30 HD TV’s, and a lot of room for strippers, poker, or whatever other activities they have planned. We can also set up for karaoke, or have video games set up in the back room also. And all of our extra activities come with a spread of food. We are going to keep you full of food wherever you are in our facility.

DD: You have truly created a nice niche for yourself. Best of luck in the future!

Strippers of the Opera

There is a new craze in the underground theater scene in New York! If you are a fan of strippers and Phantom of the Opera, then this is a must see for you. This new underground version of Phantom of the Opera performed by some of New York’s most well-known female strippers has a huge buzz surrounding it! The shows have been popping up on social media at different theaters around the city and have that Rolling Stones type mystique when they play a club on a Tuesday. Somehow, every show ends up sold out. People who have seen it have gone back numerous times! I talked to one of the founders of the show who did not want me to print her name. So we will call this Boston native, Phantom Girl for the sake of this article.

DD: So why do you not want to go on record and let me print your name in this article?

PG: We decided when we started this show to keep the mystique. As soon as people get too many details then the show is not as special. With zero marketing or promotion, the grass roots movement has gotten this show to become the hottest play in New York City. We are so excited. We are grossing more money than a lot of Broadway plays. So we prefer to keep this thing underground.

DD: Was the vision to make this an underground thing or did it kind of just happen?

PG: It kind of just happened. Our first few shows were promoted and we started noticing that I Twitter page was getting thousands of new followers every week. So one night we tried something out and did an impromptu show at this old theater in Tribeca. Doors were at 11PM. By 9 we had a line around the block. It was crazy! The next night we were having some problems with the theater that we originally did the show in, so we decided to move the show to this old theater in Tribeca. A friend of mine was the booking agent for a theater in Brooklyn and asked if we wanted to bring our show there. We did the same vague tweet mentioning the theater and we had another huge line. So we have been doing 3-5 shows a week at different theaters all around New York. It’s really exciting.  The formula seems to work. People like the cat and mouse game.

DD: Well I saw one of your shows in Manhattan and I must say that I get why it has drawn such a fan base. This is like no other play I have ever seen. There are some graphic sexual scenes and of course a ton of nudity. Is that the reason that you keep it underground? Because this thing has Broadway or Vegas hit written all over it!

PG: Like I was saying earlier, we are more profitable than a lot of Broadway shows and by doing it on our terms; we are able to get a bigger piece of the pie. Also keep in mind that we spend zero dollars on marketing! Most plays take into account millions of dollars to market their show. All of that money we are able to put back in our show. Not to mention it is expensive to keep moving such a huge production to theater to theater. We aren’t complaining. If the people keep coming out then we will continue to make the show bigger and better! The minute we become mainstream, we will lose our appeal. We don’t want people from Cleveland visiting New York to come see our show on a whim. We want the taste makers of New York to come out and have an experience like no other. We are truly a show like nothing else they will ever see!

DD: Hopefully the ride doesn’t stop! This is a really exciting show, and I am glad that I got to see it live!

Green Strip Club

Wendy Meloready an entrepreneur from Santa Fe has combined her two favorite things. Strip Clubs and helping the environment. Wendy recently opened the first ever “Green” strip club. It is truly a remarkable establishment. Everything is made from recycled products. Also every bottle, cup, and paper towel is recycled. I talked to Wendy on the night of her grand opening.

DD: How and what made you come up with this idea?

WM: Well I have always been very conscious about the environment. I have worked for a lot of non-profits when I was in college. I was a bartender at a famous strip club in Los Angeles. Of course it is easy to play back seat driver, but I didn’t like the way they ran their business, also their lack of recycling made me furious. My cousin has been very successful in the stock market. I told her that I wanted to open up my own strip club, and she loved the idea. She is also very much about the environment like I am. So we decided that we were not only going to start our own business, but also help the environment that I love so much. I always laugh when people tell me that there is not global warming. Every year we have a tragedy in the United States directly cause by weather. We need to do all that we can to save this planet.

DDL: I heard that even the stripper poles are recycled metal.

WM: Everything in the strip club is made with recycled products. And the place is gorgeous! We definitely did not give up quality with this green strip club. It shows that anyone can do what we did with their businesses. We have to be proactive!

DD: Do you only hire tree huggers? That’s a joke of course!

WM: (Laughs!) Actually to answer your question, Yes! We definitely make sure that our girls are all on the same page as us. Every Wednesday we are planting a tree around the club. We own a lot of land, and plan on beautifying the area.

DD: How have the guys responded?

WM: Well you know that hippy girls are all free spirits, so believe me we deliver as far as entertainment. And as far as being green, most guys don’t care. They just want to watch gorgeous girls get naked.

DD: Talk about your menu which is also very healthy, especially for a strip club!

WM: We definitely took a risk by having very healthy dishes. Based on the response however, people are looking for a change. We also have revitalizing green drinks that we sell for guys leaving the club, or for guys who are low on energy when they arrive.

DD: I must say that is a tasty drink! Best of luck to you and I hope this place is a huge success for you.

Bachelor Party King for a Day

Have you ever wanted to live the fantasy of being Jay Z or Brad Pitt for a day? Have you ever wanted the VIP treatment that makes you feel like a celebrity? Birmingham native Charles Logan has created a new service that makes you feel like a big deal at your Bachelor Party. I talked to Charles about his new company.

DD: This is pretty cool! Tell me about your company.

CL: I always wanted to be a high roller when I was growing up! I made a decent living but never made enough money to live the high life. So my buddy and I came up with an idea! We decided that we would take turns pretending to be the important person that night. So we bought this security uniform, and took turns driving the other guy around. We really got into it and started to wear an ear piece when it was our turn to work security. The most common question girls would ask me when I was playing the security guard was “who is that guy? And of course I had a different story every week. One time he was in a band, another time he was a football player. The stories went on and on. Unbelievably, we both met a lot of ladies doing this. And although we started doing it to get girls, it became more about playing the part, and seeing what we could get away with. One time we were in Los Angeles and got a $900 dinner comped because the manager thought that I was famous. The feeling that you get when you are the star is something that is unmatched by anything else. The night of my partner in crimes Bachelor Party, we did the usual scam, only this time with 25 buddies. It was the best night of our lives. We owned Vegas that night. Every girl thought that my boy was a superstar. I saw the power of numbers, and came up with this King for a Day Bachelor Party service. We give you the full VIP treatment with a driver, we dress your buddies up as security guards, and it becomes a night that you and your buddies will never forget. I even have deals at clubs where they act like you are someone important! We have the DJ announce your name and say you are in the house! Then when the ladies see you and your crew, they go crazy!

DD: What is the best story you have heard from one of your parties?

CL: We once had a guy who pretended that he was a Prince from Abu Dhabi. It was hilarious because he was a white guy, and 90% of his friends were white. As ridiculous as it sounded, it didn’t matter, when the DJ announced Prince Naseem in the house, the ladies went nuts! It’s always funny to hear about these nights. We truly create an experience that is bigger than a Bachelor Party. It is an event that they will never forget.
